About me Hola a todos. I am Dr. Thompson. I have been teaching Spanish since 2007. I have taught elementary, middle, high school, and college-credit Spanish. I can't say that I have a favorite level because each one has its own unique challenges and rewards. I just know that I love to teach you!
While I have lived in many places, I would probably call myself a South Carolinian. I moved to St. Louis in 2014. I am married, have a son, and three dogs. When I have some free time, I like to watch shows on Netflix, run, read, listen to music, try new foods and new restaurants, and travel. My weakness is sweet tea and burgers from Stacked STL.
I enjoy traveling and do take students abroad to foreign countries so they can practice their language skills and experience the culture they have only read and watched about in their classes. You can check out pictures from my most recent student trip to Spain and Italy in Summer 2018 below.
